Ecoblue

A synthetic product consisting of a Urea solution in water that reduces emissions in heavy vehicles. It is not added to the fuel tank, but reacts in the catalytic converter with gases generated by combustion, converting Nitrogen Oxide into pure nitrogen and water (steam).

Ecoblue is specifically designed for vehicles with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology, which cleans polluting gases produced by these vehicles. This system must be included in all diesel engines in use throughout Europe, due to the adoption of Euro 6 regulation at the end of 2015, which is focused on reducing emissions for engines of this type.

At Cepsa we commercialize Ecoblue, specially developed to promote the use of this products in Spain. Ecoblue comes from a 32.5% urea solution, converting it into a specific synthetic product to convert polluting gases expelled by the exhaust pipe into gases that do not damage the ecosystem.

It does not affect the functioning of the catalytic converter. DIN V 70070 standard guarantees the quality of your formula.

It reduces the harmful effect of NOx gases in the exhaust pipe, which are the main components of air pollution.

This product contains no impurities that affect performance.

Ecoblue is easy to use and it has a minimum cost per kilometer.

It can be safely stored as it is neither explosive nor flammable.
